Meditation is both a skill and an experience, a formal exercise to cultivate awareness and compassion. By sitting with the mind, we are training it to be more open and at ease, and we consequently discover greater calm, clarity, contentment, and compassion. In doing so, we increasingly learn to have a direct experience of the present moment. There are many meditation benefits, everything from increasing compassion and self-esteem to coping with anxiety and sadness. Sometimes a basic meditation session is exactly what we need to slow down and feel grounded. Nadi Shodhana Pranayama and Chakra Shodhana Pranayama are the basic mindfulness meditation technique usually practiced at Adiwana Resort Jembawan.

Yoga class that is practiced at Adiwana Resort Jembawan is called Hatha yoga. Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment. Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises, known as asanas or postures, and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body, especially the main channel and the spine, so that energy can flow freely.

The purification program is made to help the guest to relieve distress and discover their self as a human being, as a part of nature. Whether that the guest are religious, spiritual or nothing at all, a plunge into the cleansing holy waters of Bali and see the Balinese people live their life is surely a wellness experience the guest won’t forget. This activity will start at 09.30 am after yoga/meditation class and also after breakfast. The guest will be invited to go to Tirta Empul and also Sudamala temple for purification ritual. The guest will be assisted by resort butler with private car.

Rice Paddy Cycling

Village Cycling

Bike tour is one of the alternative ways to make guest exploration of Ubud more interesting. Through the countryside, guests will be mesmerized by the beauty of the surroundings such as rice terrace, temples and traditional village. It is a great option for adventure with the loved ones or just to wander off alone. During the activity, guests will be accompanied by our resort butler.


Campuhan Trekking

Campuhan trekking is one of the best activities that the guest can enjoy in the morning. The hike not only lets the guests enjoy the cool fresh air and the gorgeous hillside vista but also allows guests to shed off calories too with its 9 kilometer hill track. The best time to start the track is in the morning between 06:30 to 07:00 am. The guest will be accompanied by our resort butler during the trekking even visiting Ubud’s traditional market on the way back to resort.

Relaxing Scenic Tour

The relaxing scenic tour is not any typical common tour activity. It is an adventure that encourages guests to discover their self again. This activity will start at 09.30 am after yoga/meditation class and also after breakfast. Guests will be invited to go to see the rice terrace and experience a swing with a panoramic view of Tegallalang rice terrace. Afterwards guests will be invited to go to Tegenungan waterfall, overcoming a hundred steps to get to the river and capture the beautiful moment as the clear water falls. Guests will be assisted by our resort butler with private car.

Healthy Cooking Class

Create a memorable culinary milestone on how to cook a healthy meal assisted by our Resident Chef. The journey starts by visiting Ubud’s traditional market to find fresh herbs and spices while witnessing the local daily activity. Guests might have a unique experience of engaging with the locals during trading at the market. The cooking class will be at the resort, and to complete the journey guests get to enjoy their very own cooked dishes.
